To travel to Cuba, make sure to prepare the following:

  1. Cuban Tourist Card: Apply for your Cuban Tourist Card online. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your travel date to Cuba and three months from your departure date from Cuba.
  2. Travel Insurance: Obtain travel insurance that includes coverage for medical assistance in Cuba. You can choose any insurance provider that covers Cuba.   4. Flights: In order to comply with the regulations governing travel to Cuba, it is a requirement that you possess confirmed flight bookings for both inbound and outbound journeys.   5. Advance Passenger Information Form: Complete the Advance Passenger Information form (also known as the Health Declaration form) online within 48 hours before you arrive in Cuba.     • In order to complete the form provided, it is necessary to have some additional information at hand. One of the required details is the province in which your hotel or Casa is situated. It is important to thoroughly review the entire address of your hotel or Casa, as it will provide you with the information you need. For instance, if your hotel is located in Varadero, it falls under the province of Matanzas.
    • Another helpful tip to fill out the Advanced Passenger Information form is to fill in only what you need, no institution number, for example, if you are going on holiday.
